Birthday Party Video

At the aforementioned party, Tim set up his camera on a tri-pod and used his new remote w/ timer to take a picture every so often (sometimes every 10 min, later every 5). Afterwards, he took the 100+ shots and put them in a stop action video. The result is very cool--take a look!

30th Birthday Party

To go along with an absolutely perfect 30th birthDAY, 10 days later (post Holiday craziness) we hosted an incredible 30th Birthday party. We had 24 friends over (yup a bit of a squeeze in our place) and thanks to Justin & Ryan Lew, we feasted like royalty and a wonderful time was had by all (at least that is my impression!)

30th Birthday

Since this this year was a "milestone" birthday for me (and apparently the last one I'll want to count according to my mom), I told Tim I wanted to take the day off of work and have him plan a fun filled day of surprises. With just that to go on, he ran with it and what followed was one of the best birthdays I've ever had. It was perfect- thanks love!

Surprise #1-my accessory for the day

I didn't get a picture (stock photo included for good measure)-but trust me, it was delicious!

Surprise #4-lunch at a signature Emily place (Purple!) with all my favorite gals :)

Surprise #5 Indoor Skydiving!
Tim's always wanted me to go real skydiving with him but I flat out refuse so when this place (IFly Seattle) went in, I mentioned at one point that it was something I'd love to try. Turns out it was harder than it looks but SO much fun, I'd highly recommend it. (on the video below, I fly first, then Tim, then our instructor-we plan to go back to get as good as him ;)



Then after all the surprises, we ended the day with my parents @ the Husky basketball game (which you can't quite tell from the pic below but it included also watching the Alamo Bowl on the jumbotron during timeouts) and drinks/more bowl watching in U-Village.
All in all, one of the best days I've ever had. Bring on my 30's!
